“Breaking Stereotypes” is an engaging advocacy and awareness initiative structured as an interactive workshop aimed at tackling social exclusion and challenging deeply ingrained biases. The project uses “Stereotype Cards” to address and challenge harmful assumptions surrounding gender roles, families, nationality, and religious beliefs, emphasizing the importance of social inclusion and fostering intercultural dialogue. Participants engage in facilitated discussions that challenge stereotypes by sharing information, personal experiences, and engaging in dialogue with peers. The workshop fosters a welcoming environment where both international and local students can openly discuss and tackle challenging topics together. This approach turns the activity into a valuable peer-learning opportunity that fosters empathy, diminishes prejudice, and encourages inclusion among diverse cultural, social, and religious backgrounds.
